Welcome to Perth Mosque
Perth Masjid is located right in the centre of Perth City. It is the only mosque in the city. It is situated at a walking distance from the Perth bus and train stations, making it easily accessible by bus, train or private transport.
The masjid has been in use by the Muslim community since 1997. It has been serving the Community in and around Perth since then. It is open to all Muslims.
Charitable Status & Aims
The Mosque has been a registered charity since the 10th July 1997 (SC026814) and the objects for which it was established are:
1. The conduct of public worship according to the tenets of the religion of Islam in accordance with the sunni sect.
2. The provision of facilities for public worship according to such tenets at PERTH ISLAMIC CENTRE. In addition, these facilities shall be used for the study of the religion and for the education of persons in the faith of the religion.
3. The relief of poverty of those in need among the Muslim community in the area.
4. The promotion, propagation and carrying on such activities as are incidental or ancillary to these aims and objectives

Ibrahim Saeed Al-Makki one of our main Imaam in Perth. Well loved and respected, he has been in Perth since 2018.

Please read the section below for more information about Marriage. Note, however, that the mosque does not provide "verbal only" or "unregistered marriage" ceremonies. • Embracing Islam & Islamic declaration: All welcome. Becoming a Muslim is as simple as stating that "There is no one worthy to be worshipped except Allah Alone, and Muhammad is his Messenger." Shaykh Ibrahim was born in Saudi Arabia, where he did his initial studies and memorised the Holy Qur’an by the age of thirteen. After graduating from pre-university education in Saudi Arabia, Imam Ibrahim joined the Bachelor’s programme in Arabic and the Islamic sciences at the prestigious College of Higher Islamic Studies (Darul Uloom Al Arabiyyah Al Islamiyyah) at Holcombe Bury, UK. After six intensive years at Darul Uloom Al Arabiyyah Al Islamiyyah, an institute of excellence, Ibrahim Saeed graduated with distinction and received authentic certifications (ijaza) in numerous Islamic disciplines, which includes Arabic language and literature, Tajweed, Islamic Jurisprudence, and Sciences of Hadith with particular emphasis on the six authentic books of Hadith, Sihah Sitta: Bukhari, Muslim, Abu-Dawood, Nasa’ii, Tirmidhi, Ibne-Majah and the muwattas of Imam Malik and Imam Muhammad.
Shaykh Ibrahim has the honour of being taught and mentored by Shuyookh of Islamic Studies, jurisprudence and language (Arabic and Urdu) and literature. Some of the notables were Shaykh Yusuf Motala, Shaykh Hashim, Mufti Shabbir Patel, Maulana Abdul Raheem limbada, and several other mentees of Sheikhal-Hadith Maulana Muhammad Zakariyya Kandhlawi (may Allah have mercy on him).
Shaykh Ibrahim is a distinguished Imam dedicated to the local community. His primary focus is on mentoring children and youths transitioning to the next level of their lives. He is a strong proponent of the holistic approach towards life-based on the Quran and the sunnah.
Funeral
Perth Muslims have their own burial ground. It is a section in Perth Cemetery. Unfortunately, we are unable to carry out any aspects of the preparation of the deceased at the moment. Accordingly, preparation will have to be done elsewhere before the burial in the cemetery. However, full facilities to prepare the body will be available once we have moved to our new purpose build Mosque
